The British Youth Band Association is a not-for-profit organisation, founded in 1952, which promotes the playing of brass and percussion instruments by young people aged between 8 and 18 years.

The association has an annual programme of events which includes regional and national competitions, workshops and a national festival. It also provides an online library of music for players to download free of charge.
