** exclusive offer for BYBA member bands **

Training Day with the Corps of Army Music
Saturday 9 February 2018

We are pleased to offer BYBA member bands a free training day at the Corps of Army Music’s historic headquarters Kneller Hall.

What’s on offer?

  • A morning drill session with a Corps of Army Music drum major
  • An afternoon wind band session with Army musicians
  • A tour of the fascinating museum

Who’s it for?

The event is for 13-35 year olds who have some experience of playing and marching and who play brass, woodwind and marching percussion (tuned or untuned). Bugles can be accommodated in the morning marching session but not in the afternoon wind band session.

What do you need?

Your instrument, your lunch and your wet weather gear.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! It’s one of the many benefits of BYBA membership.

How can I book?

Bookings must be made by bandmasters or their nominated representative by visiting https://byba_camus_feb19.eventbrite.co.uk

We expect this event to be very popular. Booking opens at 09.00 on Monday 7 January. Places are limited to 10 per band.

As this event is exclusively for BYBA members, you must be a fully-paid up 2019 member. You may book if you have not yet paid your membership, but this must then be paid within seven days or regrettably your booking will be cancelled and the places released.

Information on membership renewals is available here www.byba.org.uk/2019-membership. And remember that the first year’s membership is free for bands that are new to BYBA.

Who can I contact about this?

If you have any questions, send an email to events@byba.org.uk or call Barbara Leach on 07810 334056.
