BYBA National Concert Band Championships 2006
CONGRATULATIONS to all musicians competing in the BYBA National Open Concert Band Championships at Benn Hall, Rugby.
For the second successive year, the Royal British Legion, Romford took first place, with Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps as Runners Up. Trinity School Show Band came a close 3rd. Benn Hall is located on Newbold Street (A426), in the town centre, and can be approached from the M1, M6 or A45. Heavy equipment can be unloaded at the venue, and vehicles must then be immediately moved away for parking.
From the South
M1 Junction 18 on the A428 towards Rugby town centre, turning RIGHT onto the A428, Corporation Street. The Coach Park is to your left off Corporation Street. The venue is 5 minutes walk away.
From the North
M1 Junction 20/M6 Junction 1 on the A426 (Newbold Street), and you will see the venue on your left. To access the Coach Park, carry straight onto Corporation Street going to the end and turning round.
From the West
A45 to Corporation Street, where you will find the Coach Park to your left.
Car Parking - this is pay and display car parking adjacent to the venue, and also a multi-storey car park on Corporation Street, directly across from the Coach Park.
The security of all vehicles and equipment is the responsibility of the owner. BYBA, Rugby LCA, or Rugby Council will not accept responsibility for loss or damage. Disabled - Vehicles displaying an orange badge, will be allowed to park in appropriately marked bays, although please contact the Championships Director in advance.
