Beeches, Stafford Brigades & South Shields take top honours

With a score of 61.80 Beeches Performance Ensemble headed a close fought Premier Class at the opening contest of the 2015 BYBA season with their show ‘The Sword’.

Second place in Premier went to Revolution Show Corps scoring 58.95 with their 2015 production ‘In the Name of the Queen’ and third place going to defending BYBA champions East Coast Elite presenting ‘Pandoras Box’.

In an equally close ‘battle of the Brigade Bands‘ in Championship Class first place went to Stafford Brigades with a score of 42.45 ahead of Lanesfield BB/GB on 36.44 and Halifax BB/GB scoring 32.45.

The Traditional Class featured two bands new to the Association, Barnsley Sea Cadets and 10th South Shields BB/GA, with the band from the North East coming out on top on this occasion with a score of 50.70.
